Also known as the Pride of Heber, the Award-Winning Heber Hawks Drumline has represented Heber Elementary School District and its community since September of 2011. The main objective of the Heber Hawks Drumline is to provide its students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed at the high school level.

With students ranging from 6th to 8th grade, our drummers participate in a summer program to start their journey. This program introduces students to reading music, proper playing techniques, and some of the other skills that they will be utilizing in high school.

Along with parades, drumline has performed for many public and private events around Imperial Valley. The drumline also performs for many events at school and in its hometown of Heber.

Our Drumline has humbly won many awards and recognitions for their exciting performances. Awards include Sweepstakes Award, Best Band, Best Group, Best Drumline, Best Performance and many 1st and 2nd place trophies. Our student musicians have also been recognized by the Southern California School Band and Orchestra Association for their hard work and dedication. Many of our students have moved on to achieve success at the high school level.

The Award-Winning Heber Hawks Drumline is under the direction of Hylmmar G. Fuentes
